Indochine, Bar Opiume @ Empress Place

It's always a mouthful to update people about my new joint.

"You know, at the Asian Civilisations Museum? Next to Victoria Theatre, Victoria Concert Hall? Opposite Boat Quay? Across the bridge from Fullerton Hotel?"

"Yup, every Monday, Wednesday, Friday, from 930pm till past midnight."




So there you go.
It is absolutely awesome.
Alfresco dining and drinks, next to the Singapore riverscape,
I can't wait to start tomorrow!

PS. I am officially gigging every weekday night now,
honestly, it scares me... there is a certain dread.
Putting up a good 3 sets every night needs an emotional energy...
which isn't easy to churn out on a daily basis.

BUT I will give it a shot and see how it goes!

Tuesday Happy Hour @ Wala Wala

we recently got shifted from Sunday Happy Hour to Tuesday's,
I know it's smack in the middle of dinner time (7pm-9pm)
but I dare say I've been having the grilled chicken & the dory fish fillet
once every week for the past year, and am not sick of it yet.

so come on down to Wala Wala for dinner!
they don't just have fried chicken and beer, hello!
they have this amazing mushrooms in some sauce that is deliiiissshh.

i'm with clarence and dayvid on guitar,
we have a fetish for turning R&B/hip-hop into acoustic sounds,
but I admit Way Back Into Love, or Rehab, or High & Dry
usually gets the most attention.

and you know, I always sing John Legend's We Just Don't Care
just because I can't get enough of hearing myself sing it.
LOL

Harry's @ Holland Village

will be my new hangout on Thursday nights starting April 2008.

expect a very chill pop jazz repertoire,
starring: myself with funny-man/guitar guru Daniel Purnomo
playing from 930pm till 1230am.

Harry's @ Holland V is a very small and cosy little nook,
and it's about time we got a little more intimate,
don't you think? ;)

Threesome @ Momo Live

Momo Live (now Velvet Dragon) used to house an all-girls' TwoQueens party every Thursday,
and we sang everything pop, both Mando/English...
for a very short stint :)

Oosh @ Dempsey Rd

I have been singing at Oosh on random days with different musicians,



BUT

Little Black Book (see Balaclava gig)+ saxophonist Leo Mendoza
will be starting regularly at Oosh
every Thursday from August07
from 9pm onwards :)

The food there is fabulous, especially their
