there is such a strong emotional core among us,

how did we get to know each other?
through music, through a common sense of humour.

this group... it grows, and is still growing.

lately,
we came together again, this time for something larger then ourselves.
we got together in a song - a song of gratitude,
in honour of everyone who have helped the Sichuan earthquake victims,
in one way or another.

it is this synergy of team effort
that catapults us to places we never dreamed we could go, alone.


this song means alot to us,
we share much love among ourselves,
and would love to extend it beyond just ZPGY.

Yes, Taiwan's 星光大道 hopped over to Singapore for a 500ppl audition,
which turned out to be a hot, sweaty, nervewracking weekend for all of us.


They were numbers 98, 99 and 101 for the final round.

When Sugie (no. 98) was awarded the Golden Ticket on the spot
which promised a straight route to Taiwan for the competition,
we went absolutely kisiao.

the past week,
i could finally spend days at home on end...
and i was particularly domesticated, and happily too!


coarsely-chopped some unsweetened chocolates


swirly heart-wannabe on cream cheese brownies
(note: baking happens once in 3 years in my book)


especially delighted by home-cooked cha soba
with seaweed, wasabi-in-a-tube, and yummy sprinklies from hokkaido
it is sooooo easy to cook and so healthy!
maggi mee is so passe!




i also got my ass down to doing stuff i have procrastinated for half a year.
like fixing the souls/soles of my shoes


i like watching him with his old-school tools
the big bottle of glue, the knives and chisels that have worked for years


good as new!

happy day!

i've been busy/MIA for so long from my beloved ZPGY
that a simple dinner made me a very very happy girl!

so i went to town with that very good mood
and ended up thinking that everything would look good on me!


$25 blue tube (currently my fav shade of blue!)
$32 flowy tube dress/skirt


island shop's amazingly cheap accessories
$5.70 bracelet
$9 earrings (only blue, only bluee~~~~ *ahem, DT song*)


$23 necklace made up of gold rings! how eccentric :)


$3.90 functional eyeshadow stick
$11.90 face slimming roller! hahaha

i've seen this around for ages and bought it on the spur of the moment.
used it for a bit just now.
it feels a little 酸 , but i figured it's good for lymphatic drainage, reducing puffiness etc, so i will persevere.





ZPGY had a fairly noisy dinner at our favourite Paragon Sushi Tei
and whiled the night away till 1am at Starbucks :)

i haven't seen them for nearly a month!
concerts usually average about once a month only,
so all this time away from home really makes my heart grow fonder :)


chanel bought a ridiculous bunch of rather unripe bananas we all had to eat,
and so we did.
i don't think i've seen 7 people eat bananas all at one time,
much less in starbucks!


don't let your imagination run wild ok.

there was a major photo frenzy at Yi-Bar (@ International Building) this past Saturday,
many of my good friends are in the band,
including Ein Ein, Chanel, Sugie, Dawn, Sun Wenhai, Lucify guys..
so we went to support them!
